The Cash Crunch: The Financial Challenge of Long-Term Care for the Baby Boomer Generation
March 9, 1998
The Committee plans to raise awareness of the risk to retirement income posed by the need for long term care services and to review public and private initiatives that might make long-term care more available and affordable for older Americans. Of particular interest is the examination of how retirement of the baby boomer generation will impact the demand for long-term care, the ability of public budgets to provide those services and the projected retirement income of baby boomers.
