KOHL'S STATEMENT ON FALSE CLAIMS THAT STIMULUS WILL ALLEGEDLY RATION HEALTH CARE

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Herb Kohl, Chairman of the Senate Special Committee on Aging, released the following statement today responding to allegations that the stimulus package passed yesterday by the Senate will "ration" or limit health care for Americans:

 

"There is absolutely nothing in the stimulus package that will lower the quality of health care or reduce the choices Americans can make about treatment options, and anything said to the contrary is fabricated."
